Our area: AmazonTree's conservation area, totaling 15 million m², is located in the municipality of Rio Preto da Eva, in the state of Amazonas, in a region of native forest with continuous coverage and high ecological relevance. The occupation of the area is formally registered in official land systems and associated with a history of use compatible with preservation. The initiative is inserted in a zone of strategic environmental importance, close to the Uatumã Sustainable Development Reserve, the Maroaga Environmental Protection Area and traditional territories of indigenous communities, which reinforces its role in regional ecological connectivity.

The local vegetation is composed of forest species characteristic of the Dense Ombrophilous Forest, with high canopy and preserved biodiversity, resulting from decades of absence of significant anthropic intervention. The integrity of this vegetation cover sustains essential ecosystem services, such as carbon stock and retention, maintenance of regional humidity and protection of springs and watercourses.
